If we want to be separate from the world, we have to guard our eyes and other activities.

I can lead to questions in the mind.. "Would he rather I looked like that or done it that way" Its a dangerous and damaging activity to a marriage.

Whether that's addiction or not, my husband has a standing request to not view erotic material out of respect for his commitment to be faithful to me. My husband and I are accountable to one another in this area, and I would consider a personal offense if he were viewing porn on a regular basis. (Even if what I call "regular" wouldn't qualify as addiction.)
I shouldn't even call it a standing "request", because I didn't have to ask him for it. He's just committed and is open and honest.

Well, let's move from anecdotal to something more research-based, shall we?
Research with statistics regarding guys with porn says otherwise.

Suuuurrrre, you do.
No, really, I've actually dealt with a couple with this issue. It didn't really turn out so well for them.
But the terminology you used.....there are many people who use porn to "rev the engines", which was the point I was trying to make which resulted in several yelling at me that I was wrong. It's actually a VERY serious problem with many porn users and they get to the place they can't have sex unless they've viewed porn. It's a very serious problem.

What did this verse mean to the original audience? Easy on the proof-texting. The TV crowd love this verse, and use it entirely out of context. There are other scriptural lessons to use.

Who is pulling the self-righteous card? I think you got your feelings hurt.

I don't think there's any need for touchiness about this issue. I can't believe there's a single male member of this forum that hasn't viewed porn at some point or another.
