Peter restricted it to the wife and husband issue. And moderation is the key, anyway. DO not make jewelry an emphasis in your heart, and use it in moderation alone. Like I said, the overall issue cannot be saying never jewerly, since God simply showed Abraham (who is mentioned in
1 Peter 3) sending jewelry to Rebekah and God using it as an illustration of a holy thing. God would be contradicting Himself otherwise. The whole volume of the Book must be considered. After years of considering this issue, that is the only sane conclusion I can see.
