I voted not sure.
I heard a preacher once say that burning of bodies in the scriptures always followed a bad/evil event but all of the "good" people in scripture were buried.
I never studied it out, but now that you started this thread, I plan to check it out for myself.
Have any of our resident scholars on AFF done any studying on this?

While I was at the funeral home I mentioned that they had handled my dad's funeral back in 1972 and the lady went and got me a copy of the receipt for it. I think it was either $300 or $800!!!! Of course he already had a casket that the funeral home in Alaska had handled along with the embalming, etc. But even if you double that cost for the two funeral homes what a deal compared to today.
Now we have to pay for morticians fancy cruises!!

My husband is a mortician. I haven't had my "fancy cruise" yet. We have been married for 15 years!

Seems I could use the Insurance Proceeds in better ways than a gardener.... My wife and I have agreed if the other leaves first- cremation is our wish.

Funeral prices vary from state to state. I know in Arkansas it does not cost $7000 for cremation.

Bah, just dig a hole and toss me in it, or else put me in a rocket and shoot me off into outer space.
