Define 'destruction of the wicked.' Now find God' def of 'the destruction of the wicked,' which is not yours...
For Boyd it means annihilation.

Nobody knows God''s definition (of this or anything else), but why don't you tell us what you guess it to be?
Why, ty Timmy. It would surely involve a different time-frame, as God exists outside of time...annihilation on a scale more, comprehensive, shall we say? but more plodding than one might like--'annihilation,' to us, is this an instantaneous, retribution-like thing, whereas God's definition, I believe, should be removed from the personal (Psalms 130 again) and taken more universally. Your sins are already forgiven. By God, anyway. Are you also practicing forgiveness, etcetc. I think the usage of 'annihilation' up there set me off, maybe-nvrmnd.

...this is what is meant when it is written, "...comes by hearing, and hearing comes by..." a tricky phrase. God's definition should become clear to you, if you ask and have absorbed enough Scripture to apply passages to real~life experiences. All the answers are in Scripture, and every time I've asked, a reference has come to mind. Let me know how that works for you : )

In this case? The definition of "annihilation"? Well, maybe I haven't absorbed enough scripture, but it seems to me that annihilation, Biblically, is burning in hell. Wailing, gnashing of teeth, etc. Though it could mean something closer to the English word. I.e., you are, then you aren't.
