They try to do the pastor's job and try to correct people,if they don't change I wish they would go to Siberia.

There they can find plenty of fault.
I guess after putting 26 years and thousands of dollars into trying to establish a work in my city that I get a little perturbed/zealous when yet another saint leaves or is about to leave.
But in the spirit of unity I am going to ask the neighboring Pastor if he needs a 2nd tier drummer.
you consider this saint a *snob*
they are at 4th tier, bottom feeder piano player - apparently not high on your list of "important" people....
what do you care if they go? You dont care enough about them to pray FOR them instead of TO them
Come on Elder, your letting me down. I thought you were a spiritually discerning man. I can affirm that I am not HH or HW. This is a true story that I am now regretting even mentioning. lol
I repent in sackcloth and ashes for my gossiping. I don't even feel worthy to bear the Apostolic name now.
Feel free to PM me and I can give you my name and my Pastors name. Telephone numbers also.
Well, inquiring minds are curious about this...
have you posted before on AFF under a different name?

Personally, I have a huge problem with unethical pastors and I feel like that is one of the greatest threats to the kingdom and the primary reason that churches do not trust each other enough to have healthy fellowship...let alone reach an entire city in a coordinated, impactful way. I'm tired of pastors going right down the street to start a church and look to grow not by reaching the unchurched, but by trying to pull away from other churches in the area. I have very little respect for those types and I feel like it makes the unity needed to reach an entire city impossible. If someone in our area wants me or anyone else to do anything and they are unwilling or too unethical to contact my pastor first...it is a definite no-go. I am of the firm opinion that if you know someone to be a member of another church, you contact the pastor first.
Good post, some may see it as old school, but I often wonder if ministerial ethics are a thing of the past. But ethics should not be so easily disregarded these days, and I think speaks volumes about a person integrity.

I am in total agreement with you on this. Unethical ministries have caused a large church by Washington state standards become small feeble ministries of shifting saints.

I have long felt that every pastor has to decide whether they are interested in Kingdom building or church building. There are things that one may do that may help build a church in the short term, but are immediately devastating to Kingdom building and almost always eventually detrimental to their long-term church building as well. A lack of ethics always creates a lose-lose situation. I know of many churches now that can never fellowship or join forces like the New Testament church is supposed to because of the sad and petty lack of ethics over the years. I personally don't have a problem condemning that and trying to make sure that the next generation of pastors does not make the same mistakes.

Theresa - When she glares at me I usually smile and say Bless sister so and so. It's not as big as your making it. I am not an important person. I resigned from being a deacon 15 years ago. I kinda get tired of Apostolics that don't even have enough Holy Ghost to smile or greet there brother instead of glaring at them.
Or how about driving by and not waving, going down a different aisle in the grocery store. I think your pointing fingers at the wrong person. I say hi to everyone and I'm pretty easy to get along with. I have my own ways of dealing with Apostolics that think there sumpin. After 26 years I have met my share of Apostolic snobs including ministers, PKs and basic ole saints like me(except when I'm gossiping). I hope you aren't like that
I think a lot of Apostolics take themselves way to seriously. God Bless you "as I smile" and hope your not glaring at me.

It happens all over the place and I am convinced that at the end of the day, there are people with blood on their hands.
