Well, tell him its February, and obviously the problem isn't with YOU, its with him.
I haven't updated you all in a while. But things aren't better, they're worse.
If you remember, at Christmas time I was unable to give the Christmas gifts I had purchased, to my son because he needs to throw a baseball 90mph in order to receive the gift. We've tried everything including a personal coach and we've brought in some of the best to help him.
But ultimately, it just looks like he's not willing to pay the price to get where he needs to be. I really think at this point he's just not serious enough and needs to understand that he'll be rewarded when he diligently seeks the right form to get this done.
I've also had people tell me that he just needs to relax and stop seeking the fastball and just accept his gifts. Problem is, he's not doing what it takes to get the gift, so it's just a revolving door of trouble at this point.
So please pray for him. He needs to get serious. It's April already and he still doesn't have his Christmas gift.

Just give it someone who can.

Great point, Coadie! He just doesn't have the proper measure of faith. It's either God's fault for not giving him enough faith, or my son's fault for just not using it.
That's just it, TS. Nearly all his other friends can throw the ball that hard, but he can't!!! He's such a disappointment.
Do they all throw 90mph, or have some fixed the radar guns, so that it APPEARS that they can throw 90mph, when really they are falling short, but just don't want the other guys to know?

Interesting point, Jason, and something I hadn't considered. Maybe, just maybe, I could get a radar gun that's been tinkered with and make everyone THINK he threw 90mph even though he actually didn't. This would get him approved of by everyone and then he could get his Christmas gift!

Good thinking!!!
Simple. Put the radar on a car, drive toward your son at, say, 20 mph at the moment he throws. Might even hit 100! Oh, and don't forget to stop before you run him over.
The beauty of this is it isn't even cheating! That ball really did go 100 mph, relative to the car! Who said anything about the speed having to be measured relative to the ground?

Hmm. You might lose a windshield, with this technique. Small price to pay?
