Yes, sometimes they seem to work but not always.

I have to say that last night was MUCH better. She was so good all evening and all night. I even had her asleep and in bed by 10:00!!! I didn't know what to do with myself. And this morning she woke up and was just as happy and bright eyed as can be. She did eat an extra time in the night but I can handle that, she always falls right back to sleep.

And it looks like someone finds her cuddly as well I think that's a sweet picture. Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks Margie!

I wonder if you had accidentally eaten something the day before that had caused her tummy to hurt? maybe some broccoli - or onions - or bananas - or who knows what!

I'm glad you had a better night last night tho.

So this is the end of your first week back at work, right? I'm sure you are glad to see Friday come!!

How're things working out with your hubby's new position at church?

We have a busy weekend planned, too. We celebrate our boy's adoption anniversary every year on Memorial Day weekend. So Walt and I are going shopping tonight. The boys are going to a youth group party. We don't get to shop together very often, so I am looking forward to our "date".

Justin had made arrangments for the Army National Guard Recruiter to come over last evening to give us information about Justin possibly signing up for the Guards. We're not opposed to him joining, but NOT as a junior in high school. We feel like this decision needs to be made after he finishes high school. So I've been praying about this. And guess what! The guy never even showed up!!! Thank you, God!!

THat's great!!! I understand, he needs to concentrate on graduating first!!

My husbands new job is going well. He really likes it - which is good. Things are much better when you're happy at your work. I am trying to keep a positive outlook on my job! Lol! Our finances are a little tight right now due to him taking a pay cut and me being without pay. We get paid every 2 weeks at my work and then it is 2 weeks later, so I won't get a paycheck for 4 more weeks. It is a little stressful but I know that the Lord will provide - he always does!

A Little Funny....

The Good Husband

>Jack wakes up with a huge hangover after attending his company's
>Christmas Party. Jack is not normally a drinker, but the drinks didn't
>taste like alcohol at all. He didn't even remember how he got home from
>the party. As bad as he was feeling, he wondered if he did something
>wrong.
>
>Jack had to force himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees
>is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table. And,
>next to them, a single red rose! !
>
>Jack sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and
>pressed. He looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order,
>spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house.
>
>He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring
>back at him in the bathroom mirror. Then he notices a note hanging on
>the corner of the mirror written in red with little hearts on it and a
>kiss mark from his wife in lipstick:
>
>"Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to get groceries to make
>you your favorite dinner tonight. I love you, darling! Love, Jillian"
>
>He stumbles to the kitchen and sure enough, there is hot breakfast,
>steaming hot coffee and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the
>table, eating. Jack asks, "Son... what happened last night?"
>
>"Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and out of your mind. You fell
>over the coffee table and broke it, and then you puked in the hallway,
>and got that black eye when you ran into the door.
>
>Confused, he asked his son, "So, why is everything in such perfect order
>and so clean? I have a rose, and breakfast is on the table waiting for
>me?"
>
>His son replies, "Oh THAT!... Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when
>she tried to take your pants off, YOU SCREAMED . . .
>
>"NO, Leave me alone, I'm married!"
>
>
>Broken Coffee Table $239.99
>Hot Breakfast $4.20
>Two Aspirins $.38
>Saying the right thing, at the right time PRICELESS!
