The praise songs wear out really fast, as they are the same four lines over and over. You can't even add good music to them... just chords... bam bam bam bam....

On I Am a Friend of God in particular, I heard that totally ripped to shreds by people's opinions of it and how much they disliked it on forums in the past kinda when it first started catching on I guess, and that jaded me to it ever since, everytime I hear it I cringe and think about everybody talking about how much they couldn't stand it. lol

When I was a kid, we had a song leader that really LOVED to use his hands like he was directing the Boston Pops.

it was a big joke to just about everyone in the church.

I can now, look at my sisters and just make a slight movment with my hand and they will bust out.

too funny!

they will be in the choir and i will do this and they will crack a smile, then I get hit when church is over!

I just cant help myself.
