we don't have to wear a coat just a shirt and tie. we can take the tie off if it gets too hot. If you are enjoying -5 you need to have your head examined! we are expecting a cold winter pattern all week but for us that will be 50s with rain

Apparel really is a cultural issue. I think that over all, we have a lot of room to be more flexible. I remember the world conference in Manila back in the 1980's. As soon as they saw the local preachers wearing those embroidered shirts as a "suit" all the Americans went out and bought one so they could leave their suit coats at the hotel.
You were at the World Conference?!! So was I! One of the most memorable conferences I've ever attended. It was awesome!! Our church group from HK sang one evening.
