I agree we do have access now to eternal life by covenant but it will rewarded to the faithful. If you feel that. I have no problem with you believing or saying you are saved. My point in the end is we still have to wait until judgment! The heart is deceitful ya know!

Everyone knows some backsliders, and some of them looked like rock-solid believers who would never be swayed, didn't they? Who can say that they themselves will never, ever fall, between now and their death? Not only must they be right about their current "saved" status (have chosen the right book to follow, and chosen the right interpretation of it, and followed its instructions correctly), but they have to "endure to the end". Nobody can know if they have what it takes to do that.
Can they?

No, your question was fine. God is greater than our heart and looks beyond the bias and it's intents to cover truth that we don't want to hear! We may feel confident we give all and we stand right. THat's fine but really we don't know as we maybe deceiving ourselves. THat's the point of judgment! We can stand confident in that we did what we believed but we don't know the judgment of God on whether we really sought all to gain all either. Giving up 95% might sound good but that is not what heasked for!

Re: Are you sure you're saved?
Merton’s Prayer
My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going.
I do not see the road ahead of me, I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so.
But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire. And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road, though I may know nothing about it.
Therefore I will trust you always though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death. I will not fear, for you are ever with me, and you will never leave me to face my perils alone.
(Thoughts in Solitude, Thomas Merton, 81)

If that is true, then all the bible's words about assurance of salvation, as I quoted one from Paul, are moot. I can cite Heb 10:20 as well. There is no assurance that Hebrews 10 requires if we cannot know we're saved. The judgment is not for believers to determine if they are lost or not, but to determine their rewards.

Re: Are you sure you're saved?
I put 100% Wow, that makes me sound pompous. I think the Pharisees would have put 100% to.

Re: Are you sure you're saved?
God knows the beginning from the end and He is the author of my salvation. He that is able to do a good work in you is able to complete it, therefore I put my hope in Him!!!!!

Re: Are you sure you're saved?
I know I am saved for I have put my faith in Jesus.
I am not perfect, I still stumble and fall, yet that does not deny my salvation.
Would your child cease to be your child, if that child fell down and got some knee scraps?
I am not perfect, I still do not know all there is to know about Christianity nor do I have perfect doctrine.
Would your child cease to be your child, if that child did not know who discovered America, or what H2O means?
My salvation is not dependent upon me living perfectly or having perfect knowledge, or perfect doctrine.
as far as I know, there is no church that has perfect doctrine, sorry to disagree with your church self-proclaimed statements that only they have the full and complete gospel.
I am saved because I belong to Christ.
