Re: 21st Century Plague: Domineering, Bossy Women

Everyone knows from history that in the Corinthian church the women were out of order asking things aloud. That example is not good enough biblical reasoning to support the argument of this thread. If a Pastor is being run over by a bossy women in the church then its his own fault.

Each of our 6 children, boys and girls got an education. Our firstborn, a
daughter, was valedictorian of her senior and received scholarships, etc.
She was sharp as a tack, and her dad always told her she could have
been a lawyer, bank president, etc. (She actually was in a position to be
just that when she married.) When she was pregnant, she had a good job
waiting for her for when she returned. She never went back. She desired
to be a good wife,(27 yrs. in Feb) a good mother, and a homemaker. She
has been one of the best of each, raising five sons, all very dedicated to
the church. Her two oldest sons both are licensed ministers.

Each of our daughters and daughters in law have young children and not
one works out of the home. They know how to work and IF necessary to
work out of the home, they could. But for now they work at home. Or out
of the home.

Yes, our children all got an education and our sons are all successful in
their work situations. Our two eldest sons have their on business. The
younger son works with his brother as a team.

But for now our daughters are content to be homemakers, faithful wives
and good mothers. I didn't teach them to prepare for divorce. Didn't want
any if possible! So far there have been none. To GOD be the glory.

This is not in any way intended to throw off of anyone who has found
themselves in that situation. It has happened to some in our extended
family, due to no cause of their own. God knows every situation.

And certainly not to offend anyone!

Blessings,

Falla39

So, bossiness and submissiveness should balance each other?

Amen I was a stay at home mom of three for twenty one years, I was blessed with a husband who worked hard so I could stay at home. This meant working two jobs, plus he went to college part time, until he was hired on full time with the Feds. Once all our kids were all in college I decided to go back to school and work part time, I don't need to work, but felt the need to try it, I enjoy it. Motherhood the hardest job I've ever taken on, no days off, no sick it's a full time 24/7 days..... So I'm thankful and blessed.

But times have change, women seemly end up taken on two jobs these days, motherhood/ breadwinner as well.
