The point is that God said he created the heaven and earth when he called ZION his people.

How could covering people in the shadow of his hands and putting his words in their mouths CAUSE Him to plant the heavens and lay the foundations of the earth?

That's how I read it. Cause and effect. I do this....so that this other might be accomplished.

How do you read it? Maybe there's another way to read it. But I seriously can't see it. So it would be great to hear how you read it.

oh ok, my bad--the "when" in that post can be taken to mean "all happened at the same time," which was how i took it. Yes, it could be interpreted as at least shadowing "new creation," imo.
