Re: Some standing here

LOL , when I read a verse in Rev., and it is showing a sign, I use the sign to clarify the verse itself.

Right. And you can tell it's literal by if it proceed from the body as opposed to just the body touching it which makes it a sign. I get it.

Did you see your previous posts, and how you denegrated the verses with sarcasm?

Your preterist ideas now give you the "liberty" to attack and denegrate the verses to the point that a minor analogy in a verse, becomes MASS metaphors.
His wrath is compared to a winepress but He has a literally two edged sharp sword coming out of His mouth? You are Retard Theory Man

So...He will be stomping in a wine press?
Like standing it in and stomping around in a wine press?

He isn't ridiculing anything, he may be ridiculing you (I can't speak for Bowas) but he isn't ridiculing scripture. You clearly posted that Jesus has a literal sword coming out of His mouth while He also holds an iron sceptre and tramples the winepress. But wait a moment? Isn't this the same words of the prophets when they spoke of God almighty treading the winepress in Israel's past? Sean I totally understand that you are as reckless as a drunk running with a Ming vase when it comes to eschatology, but Hoss, how can you literalize the sword coming out of His mouth and not the iron sceptre and the winepress? I know you are going to make up some hazy goof ball explanation, but listen it won't wash, seeing that you have literalized the sword. Hey? You do just post by the seat of your pants, and if you can't find it in Google you just wing it. It shows, believe me it shows.

The word is sacred to you?

Only if it is written in 17th century English.

But the winepress is not proceeding from any part of His body.

It may be an analogy, but what if God calls this bloodbath, "a winepress".

Thanks Bowas, I will call Gods' bloodbath of destroying wicked Gentiles, "the winepress" also.

You are awesome bro.!
Yes Bowas is awesome and you are pathetic.

OK, the sword is literal because it is proceeding out of Jesus' body?

But the winepress isn't coming out of His body, therefore it isn't physical?

Does anyone on this forum even take this guy seriously?

Re: Some standing here

Luke 9:27-29

But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God. And it came to pass about an EIGHT DAYS AFTER these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.
