In fact I think that the insinuation of "hateful" Pentecostals is coming mostly from the fertile imaginations of bitter, backslidden ex Apostolics who are constantly trying to find a way to justify their actions. ~ strait shooter

Re: Christmas Spirit

Christmas is what you make it folks. If you are the head of your household it is your duty to set the tone and "spirit" of the season. For me, celebrating Christmas unto the Lord is the best way to acknowledge the season. There is no tree worship or anti-Christ overtones at the Hoover house. It is a time of friends and family coming together and remembering Christ's birth and His ultimate gift to man. For us that is the spirit of the season.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths

Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945

"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves

It was said that we want to play music that represents the "true" Christmas Spirit.

Now the easy answer is that is the spirit of Jesus Christ and His birth in order to bring Love and Peace to this world and salvation to mankind.

Is there happiness in there some where ? I would think so.

What is your thoughts if I were to ask:

How would you describe "The Spirit of Christmas" ?
Love and mainly "giving" after the remembrance - Jesus Christ.
