Re: would you go to law against anyone?
I know we may feel like taking the law in our own hands but I don´t think it would be the best thing...Tempers would flare! A lawyer would keep it in the right perspective.

Little Joe Cartwright would ALWAYS try to settle it man-to-man, but if that didn't work, a shootout was the likely outcome.

Re: would you go to law against anyone?
Not sure I would sue a brother or sister, but I am presently suing my employer for terminating my insurance coverage without notification.
Left me holding a $50,000 hospital bill.
I do believe there are occasions when lawsuits are permissible. To me, the intent of the admonition deals more with Christians fighting each other, and choosing to air their grievances in front of unbelievers.
But, I think a lot of strange things.....

Re: would you go to law against anyone?
I didn't know this was concerning "lawsuits". Sorry, don't apply in my scenerio.

Re: would you go to law against anyone?
We are called to be good stewards of our money and if it is a last resort, I think you would have to consider it.
For example: If a minister leaves with the churches money, I believe it is the churches responsibly to try and recover it. If he refuses to give it back then I consider him to be a theif. Is a theif a brother?

Well, I know you can't really file a "lawsuit" in that situation as it is a criminal problem and not a civil one. (legally speaking)
So would you go to the law and through the process of testimony or just try to resolve through the pastors office and God.... or both.

Brother, in the past regarding perceived wrongs, I have walked away. I have never involved the pastor, but many have involved me since I became a pastor.

Just curious, not condemning, but why do you always post in a large bolded font?
