My children were raised without TV...however I have many friends and theirs had TV and did well also.
I agree TV is a waste of time for the most part and if I had it to do again I still would raise them without TV...however I have never told them TV is a sin for it is just a box like a computer...I have lived to see TV in decline and internet the going thing. My father told me when he was a boy his church preached against the evils of Radio...It looks like in every generation we face a major task and that is teaching our children the REAL problem starts in the heart.
I am a mother of many grown children...Some are not where I would like for them to be in the Lord but they my children. Three of our boys pastor, one of my daughters married a missionary and one of my daughter's her husband just begin preaching.

our oldest son Raul Jr is the vice president of our brazilian churches another son is a jungle missionary and yet another pastors the large church in Maceio...

Whatever they do for the Lord I am sure it is by the grace of God...

I don't even listen to the radio or even care about listening to CD's...boy am I different...I just like my computer for communication..I don't even have an I pod! All that blasting stuff makes me uneasy... and I sure would not care about watching people kill or commit sins...lol...

I don't listen to radio or CD's either. LOL

But Podcasts (and the occasional MP3 song -the podcasts are MP3 as well) are another story!

However we cannot blame all the evils on TV I know people that have never had a TV and their tongues are far more evil and dangerous than a TV...

Today is a wonderful day for me am at my son's convention and buses of people are coming in from so many places in Brazil...I am blessed to see so many people from all over.
