Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

She was on some major medication and this was over 20 years ago. I did NOT defend the doctrine or practices of BH nor of his wife. I know that BOTH of them and their family regret this ever happening. What if she were your mother?
That is not DEFENDING THEM - God knows - All of us have done crazy things!
I have been in Pentecost ALL of my 54 years and I can promise you that I have seen FAR worse than this MANY, MANY times!

It is so sad that so many of us can say the same AB.

doesn't speak well of Pentecost at all.

The men behind her were Amening her every word.

It reminds me of a Lee Stonking meeting, where he's qouting from the books of witchcraft and teaching his doctrine of healing power in uncut hair, Lee gets amens from te crowds of people.

I hear people say or post that HMH is not a widespread problem in our ranks, they say the UPC does not endorse HMH....yeah right!

Anybody ever hear of LS getting told to not preach or teach this hair-esy

And it's not just Oneness Pentecost. The Assemblies of God has some world class nuttiness. A famous example in recent history: Brownsville in Pensacola is and AG church.
