Re: FHTM

I detest MLM. Some years back it was all the rage in Pentecost. The end result is always the same. A few people make good money and a bunch of people don't and in fact lose money. The worst part is when friends or relatives try to recruit you or sell you.

Back in the 90's I had people come up to me while I was pumping gas and one time a lady in the supermarket all trying to recruit me to some MLM or another.

I know a few people who have done quite well for a short time but even for those exceptions to the norm it never seems to last more than a year or two before it collapses.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: FHTM

It takes money to run God's Kingdom.

I've heard great things about FHTM.

I know a minister who made $1200 in a couple of weeks.

Direct marketing is like anyother business. In order to succeed, you got to bust your hind end.

Re: FHTM

It is legit. The headquartes are a few hours from my house. Direct Marketing companies are not always on the company websites. The goal is to direct traffic to a certain page in order to determine the value of being a business partner.

Direct Marketing doesn't work if no one buys the products.

What I wonder about it they showed in their promotional DVD Best Buy being one of their clients, but if you go to their website now they are not listed.

Someone else mentioned in a response on it being a scam that Sears would not be a part of a company that was a scam. Sears is not listed on their website either.

Montana will not let them do business in their state at this time. SC also had banned them, but that seems to have been resolved.

Not sure how reliable this company is and IF they are as good as they claim.

A friend of mine just signed up with them and he is currently without a job and I hate to see him put money into something that may be a scam.

He was approaced by a UPC minister. Perhaps this is all true. But I am leary. He had two friends check it out and said it was all legit.

I would love to hear from someone that has been involved in the company to confirm what the real truth is in regards to this company.

Re: FHTM

I know someone personally involved in this. And trying to recruit me as well. What little I know, it is very legit. And not like other MLM's or pyramid schemes.

You purchase your everyday goods thru 'your' website and get a certain % back of every penny you spend. So buy a Safeway gift certificate for $200, and use it to go buy your groceries, and you earn back a % of it. So you save money on your groceries.

It works that way on lots of suppliers/stores. Best Buy is one of the participating members. Just about everything you purchase for everyday use can be directed/purchased thru your website, and you earn money on it.

My friend bought into this for $300. You earn $100 for everyone you recruit. And a certain amount for everyone they recruit, on down the line, for infinity. She made her initial investment back almost immediately because her son signed up under her, and he has several recruits already as well.

That's about the limit of my knowledge on this.

Isn't that the definition of a pyramid scheme?

Yep, pretty much. 'Course, the thing about pyramids is: they work! Well, they work for some of the participants. For others, it doesn't work at all. (Oh wow. Deja vu. )
