Not really.

Exodus 32:31-32

31 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.

32 Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

Was Moses totally off base in asking God to forgive the sin of his people?

Okay, what is the purpose of this thread? What does the original poster have to say about this? How can it be said God does not forgive if the bible says He does?

Psalms 86:5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Jeremiah 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

The bible is clear that God forgives.

Re: God does not forgive, because he never condemn

Is condemnation the only reason for forgiveness? What about conviction?
