I knew he did, and ty. I wonder at his math, though, if Scripture says 144,000 saved? I've also heard the "this has already happened" arg, which seems more compelling, but I honestly have no knowledge here.

A clearer def of "Israel" would be good here. My conviction is that those prayers, all of them, are completely ignored by God, and depending upon your def of Israel, I believe that I have Scripture for that.
Please understand that there is some friendly razz in here, too. We are here to examine doctrine, and my opinion of Bickle is irrelevant. Where you say "divide," I might say "Freudian slip," or "divine."

I'm planning on bringing up my current fave preacher, Arnold Murray, in connection with the "Rapture" um, thing--and whatever you may say about him, I think you'll find his interpretations of Scripture, the literal ones at least, fairly compelling. There are no little birds, or whatever, in the Ezekiel
MSS. and a "Lexicon" there will show up the lie.
Understand that "Rapture" last arose in 184o whatever, via a discredited woman who called herself a prophet or something, I'm sure you are familiar with the story--but it isn't the first time, and as it is such a wonderful tool for getting "Christians" to sit on their hands, I doubt it will be the last.

Well, it could be that this was not self-produced? So slanted, as Michael mentioned--he did already say that it might have been anti-propaganda;
I'm not familiar enough w/Bickle to comment there, or on the subject matter either, really, except to note that many think the Scripture he did refer to at the end has already occurred to the pre-diaspora Israel?
