There are some who are sympathetic to the cause of gay rights, and some who are not, who take the attitude that it's just a sandwich -- who cares what the company's views are (or their executives' or owners' or whatever)? I don't see it that way. I, for one, would not want some of the money I spend going to causes I don't agree with. Vote with your wallet! (As the counter-boycotters are doing, and I say "more power to 'em". Just don't think it proves anything.

That's for private parties. For government entities, it's another matter. They should not deny or revoke a license to a business solely on the basis of the opinions of a business or what it donates money to. If that's what they're doing in Chicago or elsewhere, I'm against it.
