I told my grandson, (that is far away from God) this morning. We have got to know what we believe and stand on those principles, no matter what comes or goes.
They are crazy here they let me in, a former Apostolic.

How many on here believe in two blessings?
And where is any scripture to prove it.?
Where is scripture that proves that when a person accepts Jesus as Lord, they are automatically filled with the Holy Ghost, without any evidence?
And later, they are baptized with the Holy Ghost, for power only, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues? But this is not for Salvation?

You will notice when I put doctrine on here, I do so with 2 or more scripture’s. “With two witness’s let every word be established."
Renee, you might want to read up on the Doctrine of Subsequence. Originalist can explain it better than I can.

Re: Indwelling or Empowerment

Sister Renee, I love everything you posted. It is truth in my heart.

I think many leave true pentecost teachings because of the loveless oneness churches in their area and turn to trinitarianism because of love and acceptance in those churches.

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22)

and....

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

(John 13:34)

and

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

(John 13:35)

People naturally flock to churches where they see and feel the love that the people have for one another.

Oh so true. And i have been guilty myself. Not excusing myself or anyone else, but I believe it was partly the way the church is set up. We had become a church of spectators. The Podium was the main focus, not people. And how can you show love, if you come to a service, listen to whoever is up front, get up and leave?

I felt more love when me and my sister, or niece and her husband would get together, not planned, but spontaneously study God’s Word.

Re: Indwelling or Empowerment

mizpeh, I read a couple of their articles. Skimed over another one, and saw no proof of what they were teaching from God's Word.
