Was this comment directed at me? (Just want to make sure because I don't want to assume). If it was, please know that I am not bitter and was not trying to mock anyone. I for one do not think it is very nice to compare people who cut their hair with Temple prostitutes either. But like I said, if a person wants to grow their hair for God that is their choice. Long hair does not make a person holy and short hair does not make a person a prostitute.

Well technically most of those are in the bible

1. Talks about drunkenness (I'm sure that would include getting high
2. Talks about the Lust of the eyes
3. Talks about not stealing
4. Talks about obeying the laws of the land
5. Talks about gluttony
6.....well you may have something there. LOL

You are right though...there are a lot of sins not mentioned in the Bible that I believe become common sense the more you learn about Jesus. That is why I leave it up to God to judge the heart of man..it is not our job.

I think it is wonderful if a woman grows her hair long to honor God, but i have seen so many that are vain about their hair..they take hours primping before church to get their hair just right..that does not seem very modest to those who witness it. if the long hair is the woman's glory what if she is supposed to always have it down? what if having it up is the same as having it short? that would stink. lol Bottom line.. I think if a person is going to grow their hair they need to check their hearts and know exactly why they are doing it...for their own glory so others will admire it or for God's glory.

I know those verses, but still there's no verse that specifically states Thou shall not, so.....
