you explained it well enough.

I don't know anyone that believes in 3 gods.

I understand what the classic Trinitarian view is.

There exists three co equal co eternal persons within the one God. Each one of the persons is distinct from the other. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each person is God.

I am not accusing you of being a Trinitarian. Im glad you are studying it. The definition given by Trinitarians themselves is the reason many see three Gods in their faith.

What does it matter if he carries the label Apostolic? He's a Christian, and that should be all that matters.

Well the person who asked the question wanted to know. And yet are we a Christians because we say we are? Or is there criteria to be met?

Are the Jehovah Witnesses Christians? If not why?

I totally see your point...and I honestly think it stems from people not understanding enough to actually explain it (I being one of them). I have read statements of faith on different Trinitarian websites and the explanations even vary among them. That is what led me to start searching and praying about it myself. I do not feel comfortable saying "This is what I believe because it is what my home church says to believe". I really want to study the Word and have God reveal it to me personally. I am not ashamed to say I do not understand it 100%. I do however believe there is one God and I believe that Jesus is God.

If what I am saying makes it appear that I am playing both sides of the fence, forgive me, because that is not my intention. If my beliefs lean me more towards being Trinitarian, that's ok with me because like I said, I don't like labels. I think it is more important to believe the word of God and let God be the one who molds our beliefs..not man. I thank all of you who are not attacking me or judging me while I am..how do people put it.. soul searching.

To me personally it does not matter. I enjoy his music and have several of his CD's. It is obvious he has a heart for God. I guess to some Apostolics it matters because they do not want to expose themselves to doctrines that they do not believe in...and that is ok also. Even if someone professes to be Christian I think it is important to compare what they say (or what they sing) to the word of God.

Plenty of con artists call themselves honest to anyone who will listen to them, but all their words are meaningless for crooks lie so people will drop their guard and trust them, that is why they are called confidence men.

Plenty of people who call themselves Christians are not.

"Therefore I said unto you that ye shall die in your sins, for if ye do not believe that I AM, ye shall die in your sins." John 8:24

Reading through the Bible, personally I cannot find any support for a trinity.
