I don't respect anyone who is threatening to leave, though, and if my pastor were one of the ones trying to hold people hostage with thier membership (especially over something this lame) there isn't a chance I would ever step foot in thier church again...

That's the right attitude to have...does anyone around here still teach and believe in submission to authority?

Why do you need confirmation if your source says it's a done deal? Do you not trust your source? I highly doubt the validity of "unnamed" sources.

This is interesting! I find it hard to believe that MOST of the preachers in your prior organization wear rolexes or have a second house and a party barge! Were you in an organization of mega churches?

I am absolutely willing to submit to authority...
But when the authority does something that would eradicate all the respect I ever had for them, how can I possibly follow them???
I would find someplace else to go to church and a man I could respect to be my pastor...

Sorry, DA.
I won't believe it unless Thad releases that information.

Ah yes, Brother Protocol.
I know him well, and also his brother-in-law, Bro. Anonymous.
He married Protocol's sister, Whatzername.
