Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; Rom 1:29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality,[c] wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, Rom 1:30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Rom 1:31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving,[d] unmerciful; Rom 1:32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
No, those who live holy will not have TV in their lives, period. It is not a control issue, but instead a holiness one. Without holiness, and holiness as commanded in 1Peter 1:15-16, no man shall see the Lord.
Talk about out of context! Aw forget 'bout context. What I need is long sleeves.

I've had the privilege to be a pastor for over 20 years and I have heard a lot of people say a lot of things. One of the things I have observed is that folks who boast of being "holy" or how much they have crucified their flesh or how much they have separated themselves from the world are usually compensating by their rhetoric for the lack of the truth in what they are saying. Maybe not everyone, but I hear Paul declaring, "O wretched man that I am.....!"
In EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US lies a flesh pampering "monster" that screams for its own way. It will NEVER be killed once and for all in this life and must be crucified daily and struggled with like a wrestling or boxing match.
Personally, I have not attained to what Jesus Christ wants me to be. I am not even close to what I was when He saved me, but I am not close to what He wants me to be either. I am a work in progress and I tell the folks I am privileged to pastor that often. It gives them hope that they make it and don't have to be perfect. Perfection, (lack of flaws) is an impossibility in this life no matter how loudly some proclaim it. Even those who proclaim having attained it are liars.
Without the help of the Lord, I am toast. Without the power of the HG, I will revert to what I was. Thank God for the resurrection! Thank God for His power to set me free and keep me. But none of you have to become "like" me to be acceptable to God.

Some people equate holiness and standards with things that are crushing and cruel. The fact of the matter is holiness is liberty from the world and the passions there in. Holiness does not bind, but frees us to be what the Lord has called us to be, separated and righteous. Men who love the world more than they love Christ will always see standards as evil and wicked. Men who love Christ more than the world will always see sin as evil and wicked.
The notion that I can be like the world and still be of Christ is what this really boils down to. Can I have the world as my master for hours a day, and still call Christ Lord and be accepted of Him on Sunday? No. This TV is really just the surface of a much deeper issue, holiness in the heart and life. Some have walked away from standards and are using the TV issue as a platform to showcase their walk in this world. But, for the people of Jesus, called by His name, holiness is not a choice, but a commandment, and one we follow gladly.
Aren't you going to suggest that we do as you claim to be doing and turn our backs to the TV if it's on at a home we are in, put headphones on and retreat to our rooms?
What is holiness as defined by the Bible?

Well said, I just desire to know Him more and more and to let His word and His life continuely work on me. Oh, to know Him as He really is!!!

HOne, I have answered. You just refuse to receive what I said. One more time...
Holiness is the separation of one's self from the world and unto God in all matters of life. Refer to 2Corinthians 6:14-18, 1Peter 1:15-16. There.
So this is what was meant by the scripture, "Be ye holy as I am holy."? Jesus was meaning that He was holy because He separated Himself from the world and unto God?
Where is the definition of holiness? It's not in the scriptures you posted above.
1 Cor. 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Who says this refers to holiness? Holiness isn't even mentioned in those scriptures, so how can you know that it's referring to holiness? How do you know holiness isn't just simply the obeying of the ten commandments?
1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
The Strong's definition for 'holy' as written above is ' most holy thing, a saint'. There is no doubt that we should heed those words, but just because you say those things refer to holiness doesn't make it so. Scripture should back you up, and it doesn't.
