Re: born of water
Brother, this experience that many of us have had is the enemy approaching us in our subconcious state, trying to intimidate us into submission of not speaking the name of Jesus.
It is also happening in our conscious state daily. Even here on AFF!!!

Stop going by "dreams" and start applying correct hermeneutics.

Re: born of water
Faith in Jesus, calling on the name of Jesus, and being baptized in the name of Jesus all go hand in hand. I'm not so sure we gain anything by debating this over and over, but we do benefit when we place our faith in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, and when we call on and invoke that name. I called on that name when I repented, and I absolutely wanted it called over me when I was baptized. I don't think we can honestly say a person is baptized in Jesus name unless that name was invoked by the baptizer. I truly believe baptism must be performed in the name of Jesus with the baptizer invoking the name and signifying that he is baptizing the convert in the name of Jesus Christ. At the same time, let's just focus on doing it and obeying it, and leave the outcome of all the good hearted folks who repented and had faith in Jesus, but were not baptized properly in the hands of God.

Re: born of water
Yup--we have some pretty strong evidence that there will be greater and lesser in heaven; and those who are rewarded more than others. God knows best.

(And we know, using it without knowing the one who carries that name could get an individual stripped naked and sent on down the road...)
hand in hand
Acts 3:
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
Acts 4:30 while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”
And somebody outa be calling on that name at baptism...

Substitute the word " name" with " authority" and it will all become clear to you, brothers. And while I agree that somebody ought to be calling out his name in baptism, God does not base the forgiveness of the one being baptized on whether or not the baptizer gets it all right! It is utter soteriological nonsense to even suggest that it is a man uttering anything over you that determines whether or not God forgives you. There is not one thing taught by the Apostles that even suggests such a doctrine.
