Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; Rom 1:29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality,[c] wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, Rom 1:30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Rom 1:31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving,[d] unmerciful; Rom 1:32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
No, those who live holy will not have TV in their lives, period. It is not a control issue, but instead a holiness one. Without holiness, and holiness as commanded in 1Peter 1:15-16, no man shall see the Lord.
dude, you might want to get a different translation. it is clear your understanding of the King James is akin to my understanding of ancient sumatran.

The church cannot survive and grow with a borg mentality that devalues individual expression and contribution. It is simply not possible. I categorically reject the notion that we must be in agreement in every application of holiness.
I have been praying that God will remove the scales from the eyes of every person who is currently unable to see that there are some among us that have an agenda that is crushing and cruel. These same people have a desire to build their own kingdom instead of God's.
These are sincere thoughts devoid of any animosity and anger. I am truly, truly concerned.

How do you reconcile what you're saying with the following: "And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved" (Acts 2:46-47), "And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch)" (Acts 5:12) and "Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind" (Philippians 2:2)?

The accord they dwelled in was birthed by the Holy Ghost, not from organizational legislation. There is a huge difference between the two.
