"And be NOT conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
As usual you guys are sniping over each other’s head without really paying attention to what the other says.
Of course appearance matters, Baron never said it did not. Personally, I love the traditional Apostolic look. It is not however salvaic.
We are to dress modestly which to me means a higher standard than what the public at large would agree is “acceptable”. On the other hand as Baron was attempting to point out, modesty does not entail either frumpy or conspicuously out of date or style. Drawing attention to oneself in this manner is ALSO the anti-thesis of modest.

Good post!
I just don't understand why some get so mad when someone thinks differently than they do.

No, I'm correct, I'm sorry you can't take what you dish out.
If you would of read my post, you wouldn't have to of posted this one.
You went back and re-read it and now you making your points closer to what I posted. Your previous post made only sense to you. Pressing-On ask for clarification, and I didn't have a clue what you were trying to say about eight months? Sorry, but you are not that clear.
Sorry Superstar, but I honestly don't know you by your nick.
Listen, whoever told you by being wordy makes you sound correct?
They were wrong.
I provided the fact that no covenant makes provision to allow those in the covenant to do a little sin, in attempts to stop you from going into greater sin. It is unbiblical. Therefore flawed scriptturally, as it proves in MOW's case that it didn't work.
Find something else to defend because you are loosing this one.
Just got home playing catch up hmmm lets see no idea about eight months, note bennys lack of attention to detail...I am typical?...typical attorney? Trained in the art of hired gunmen for those who can't...completely wrong I didn't go back and reread you post...never been accused of being wordy before...I'm losing because you say so ok not much here to respond to.

Hey Baron, did you contact Miss California, maybe you can be here legal council?
First she can afford better counsel than I can provide. Second, I don't rejoice when someone falls short of the calling. It may be fun sport to you but to her own Master she stands or falls.

Are you one of those lawyers who dress in suits that look they need to be dry cleaned, and wear canvas shoes with white socks?
No Brother Burk, it has nothing to do with the way you are dressed.
I hope you are not a defence lawyer Baron. I bet you tell your clients to dress anyway they please? Yep, clothes don't make the man. Baron, go read Matthew 23.
