Re: Gabby's

I am really surprised at all the negative comments regarding Lowes. We have two Lowes stores in our city and we love them both - now Home Depot is another story!

Re: Gabby's

AG - your life is like reading a novel!!!

So much drama............ My life seems kind of boring when I read about all the things that happen to you and your children....

But....... I think I like boring..........

I very rarely go to that Wal-Mart. It's SOO slow!!

Praise Jesus.

I am amazed how many others are having poor service at Lowes. Very surprising.
Last time I went into Lowes, no one offered to help me...I had to go down almost every aisle before I found someone who was willing to help...I don't plan on going back.

We don't have a Walmart, I used to go a lot when we lived in Chicago, but now it's hardly worth the drive.

I am finding that to be the case in ALL the hardware stores in this town.

I went to our local WM yesterday during my lunch break. I had gathered the things I needed in less than five minutes. The lines were ridiculous. They had five or six registers open and folks (with shopping carts FULL of merchandise) were five and six deep in each line. It was a half hour excursion, with the parking, lines, and getting gas.

Have I mentioned that I loathe Wal-Mart?

Re: Gabby's

Really, it has to do with the age group that is available to work. My SIL, who is a manager at Lowe's, gets very frustrated because of the young people that DO NOT care, especially the college kids!

I see that everywhere and not just at Lowe's or Home Depot.

That's too bad! Our Home Depot has been great on customer service.

I've experienced this too...very frustrating, especially when you just want to get in and out.
