I don't mind wearing a suit and tie on Sunday but I do wished we would relax it on wednesday. The platform is required to wear a tie always.
I think that in the day we live in, being dressed up to the nines actually intimidates a lot of people
and i HATE dressing up in the summer, suit and tie and jakcet- way to hot for all that

Been hanging out with the libs again? Just wait, before long, you'll want to shed that suit and tie on Sundays too!

Suits are not necessary. A sharp appearance wiothoput a necktie is possible. I believe it is respectful to look sharp and distinguished, but a necktie and two-piece suit is not necessary to achieve that appearance. Anything wrong with it? No. It's just not essential. After a while we can make neckties and suits as much a "robe" of religion as the clerical collar is!

That bolded part can be true, but on the flip side there are some who have made Church into nothing more than coffee & chit chat around the coffee table.

When I dress casual, I act casual, when I dress professional, I act professional.

Simple really.

Even though I disagree with your reasoning, I give you room to do what you feel is right.
What I'd like to have is the ability to do what I feel is right without being labeled as "liberal".
