Maybe we should just apply the Word like medicine and get healed. It is sad to have more faith in chemicals than it the living God. Apply the Word with the same hope and faith as drugs and get a much better result with no side effects.
If I remember correctly it was busted. Alcohol had no effect on how they judged the appearance of the opposite sex.
Which to me is not the real question. The real question should have been,
Does a persons moral integrity deminish with alcohol ?

I'm not sure that I would oppose any substance being used for medical reasons in a controlled environment.
But in California, since cannabis is legal ("medical purposes") there is often little distinction between recreational use and legitimate medical use. Everyone here knows it's not hard to find a doctor who will prescribe it fairly easily. I used to hear radio commericials from doctors advertising their willingness to prescribe cannabis, ie, "Are you in pain, yet pharmaceuticals have let you down? Give Dr. MJ Hempy a call today, 916-451-OOOH."
Reportedly jails are overburdened with illegal possessors, so maybe legalize it just to free up jail space for worse criminals, and to give police a better use of their time.
