Let's just remember, these people are the people that we're sent to serve and love. Yes, they curse us. Yes, they ridicule us. Yes, they mock us. But let's remember, we must bless those that curse us. God's in control and his hands of mercy are still outstretched to these people. The battle is not ours. The battle is the Lord's.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
We are on the verge of war. The people of God need to pick up their armor.
OK. Just stick to the spiritual weapons, and everything will be fine. Besides, prayer is much more effective than protests, boycotts, bombs, etc., don't you agree?
(Not saying anyone here would resort to violence, but others have, as you all know.)

Very true.
Unfortunately, I dont believe all of God's people recognize what we're up against.

Daniel 12:3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever.
I have heard some preachers state that gays are coming into our Church's in the states &
mocking the preaching & even being so bold as to mock the people when they attempt to pray for them!
No fear or respect for God!
That is sobering & sad!
They've been giving the Mormons a hard time lately over the recent Prop 8 decision in California.

There are extremes on both sides. I wouldn't characterize them all by their extreme element. Just as I pray they all don't characterize us by our extreme element.

When I was a teen, I wanted to leave the U.S. of A. Reason being, I didn't think the American church took God seriously enough.
Today, I have less zeal.
Work, school, church, starbucks, church, the mall, starbucks, church... typical concerns of today's church in America. Did I just say that?

Jesus and the Apostles were considered extreme in their day. Too many Apostolic's are just Ho Hum. We're kinda like the frog in the pot. We don't have to hate the sinner but we can object to their sin. Gays are not going away, they will continue to make more and more demands. It's not going get any better unless God steps in because they have an Ally in the White house, or will have after January.

Can you give an example of their extremism?

God's in control. The World is...the World. Always has been...always will be. Welcome to earth my good friend.
