There they can find plenty of fault.
You know, my initial reaction to the whole concept was to shake my head and laugh and lump this in with all of the other people trying to turn a quick buck off of miracle waters and the such. However, after looking at more of their pictures and models, there is another aspect of this that is troubling. They are trying to sell sexiness in conjunction with the Holy Ghost Tees. That is troubling.
I saw one pic on their myspace page that I consider innappropriate to post here but here is a description from a blogger.
To add even more confusion to this collection of mixed-message shirts, HGT's Myspace page features a female model sporting a bare midriff and a micro-mini--with legs not closed enough, couples cuddled up together, and models that look more interested in Calvin Klein contracts than Christianity. Am I being harsh? Probably so. But it is only because something that is considered sacred to me and many others is turning into an addition to the gallery of sacrilege
This in its entirety is not funny to me.

Is it an icebreaker to witness to wear a shirt with "speaking in tongues" phrases on it or is it blaspheming?
Never in a million years would I have believed if if I hadn't seen it. That is seriously grieving. Wow.....no smart remarks or anything funny to say. Just shock. And hurt. And I'm saying that from the perspective of one who doesn't speak in tongues and doesn't really understand the value of it (not trying to start a fight, just trying to establish my perspective).
I'm not sure if it's blasphemy but it's as close as anything I've seen.
I've hit upon a great idea since Christmas is coming up,we'll take up a collection and buy the admin team of AFF a Holy Ghost tee each.
Renda will love hers.

Can you link the myspace page? I have no problem with the way the models appear on the page RG posted, but the supposed tongues......wow.
Even in the old UPC days, I always had a problem when someone would command, "Let's pray in the Spirit" and everyone would, on command, go for it. I could, right now, do what would be considered tongues. But memorized gibberish isn't tongues. Maybe that's another thread. I just think it's the equivalent of what the Corinthians were doing with communion in chapter 11 of the first book. They were turning it into recreation and a joke.

Agreed, that is the first thing I noticed. Not Christian like in my opinion at all. When I see midriff showing on my girls, I rip the Tshirt. I'm easily annoyed by that stuff.

Doesn't that just make it worse?
(Sorry, couldn't resist! )
