Pastor Cymbala was never UPC, but his father was!

Listening to anyone sing that lifts up the name of Jesus and sings in the manner that most identifies with the type of music that I want to hear is going to have my ear.

I used to listen to and attend concerts by Ronnie Milsap. I don't listen to country music anymore, but he did put out a 2-disc CD where he was singing Christian songs. I bought it because I still like his voice. Does that mean that I will attend a concert where he is headlining? No, but if he sings about Jesus, I want to hear it.
Where did you get that? Doesn't even make sense when you consider half of the songs we sing in church are written by trinitarians.

I think Sam was trying to ask a genuine question.

I admit that some times my questions are "trolling" to stir things up, but in that case I meant it the way I asked it. I thought Pastor Cymbala was from an Apostolic (in this case Oneness Pentecostal) background. Also, Brooklyn Tabernacle is listed as one of the Churches in Global Network (an organization of both trinity and oneness ministers). The question was not asked to stir things up, it was a real question.

The question has been answered. Someone mentioned the statement of beliefs of Brooklyn Tabernacle. I checked it out and it has words like "eternal son" and "three persons" which are usually considered trinitarian phrases so the church would not fit the "Apostolic" designation as defined by some.
