During the Czar’s time tea was the most important drink after vodka in Russia. This tea has a long history, and the Lapsang Souchong in the blend gives the hint of mystery. The tea has a delicate flavor with a lively sprightly slightly toasty character. Perfect after a dinner party.
Yeah russian caravan is good and not as strong.

the smoking was actualy a preservation method

Yeah, guess I could start a Lager Corner ... that would go over like a drunk sailor at church.

Re: Tea Corner

A coworker went to India a few weeks ago and brought me some Darjeeling tea. loose leaf (the best way to get any tea imho).

very nice. I drink it in the afternoon instead of a second cup of coffee.

I'll agree with Timmy on this one. I do prefer coffee.

But do enjoy tea occasionally, constant comment is one.
I also enjoy some of the herbal teas. My favorite is Bigelow Plantation Mint.

Another good brand is The Republic of Tea.

Re: Tea Corner

We have a neat local shop-The Tea Smith.
It's set up like a coffee shop, small tables, free WiFi.

And all kinds of teas, cups, tea pots, strainers
My favorite is an in cup brewing basket.
