Re: 2011 Photos

Great pics Randy Wayne. My wife really wants to visit the Grand Canyon and walk out on that plexiglass platform 3,000 feet above the floor that enterprising Indian tribe has put in and charge $75 per customer.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: 2011 Photos

Here are some Christmas pictures I took last night at a Tempe neighborhood where every single house on a certain cul de sac decorates to the hilt. You can see all the people that come to see it!

Re: 2011 Photos

Last night my husband and I, with list in hand, drove to several neighborhoods with elaborate light displays.
Several give you a FM location so the music is in sync with the action.
Fantastic lights and fun_______but these folks have too much disposable income and wayyy toooo much time
