Maybe maybe not. In scripture there are various examples. If we gave testimony to some things we have seen probably many would brush it off. Im sure there were people in Biblical times who thought the judgments that came to certain ones were merely coincidence too.

Re: Did God Judge Lady Gaga With Lupus?
If two people get in a fight over some disagreement and both get hurt, did God send a judgement of "fighting" against them?
Is someone eats too much candy or drinks too much booze and gets sick, did God send a judgement of sickness?
If someone can't manage their finances and rack up too much credit on their cards, did God send a "Judgement of Debt!"?
If a city is wicket beyond belief and fire rains from the sky and utterly destroys it, did God send a Rain of Fire against that city? In this case, He probably did.

I've gone to a web site that has an atomic bomb simulator where you use Google maps to set a detonation area and it shows the range of damage based on the kiloton/megaton rating you give it. Living in East Mesa we're fairly safe from all but the largest bombs that would detonate over central Phoenix, but we would be close enough to see an awesome light show.

But then again, I do believe an atomic bomb wouldn't necessarily count as a judgement from God either.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
