really i have no idea how i got onto that; a result of my diet now, maybe?
1) Bees are dying en masse, = less honey, while demand only grows.
2) Honey does not spoil with even minimal storage care.
3) It can be eaten, and is in fact a superfood; and raw honey, pollen intact, has several other uses as well. Note that you will not find the honey i mean at a grocery store--not even a Whole Foods. Go to Craigslist, or a farm stand, and prefer glass jars over plastic, or transfer (honey is highly acidic). Bug parts in your honey = the least processing.
But also note that virtually any commodity charted against the dollar will outperform it, interest included. Work up a chart of honey v your ira for the last ten years, and see.
Manure has done better than your savings! And is better protected; no one will be interested nor have access to your manure--but they're coming for your ira, deposit boxes, etc. Soon. Heck, they're stealing from your ira every day that it stays in $ now.
