With words, can you tell me how the Biblical "truth" of "Acts 2:38" is carried out in your church? Let's say someone wants to do it your way in their church this weekend, exactly how and exactly what does that look like? And exactly how is each step "Biblical?"
Let me stop right there so things don't go off the tracks. Remember, this is not about Rev Graham...some of you may have disagreed about him to some extent but you seemed to agree with each other about Acts 2:38, so if you could just help me out with that I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you in advance,

Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
So there are 3 things that must be done according to acts A:38.
1. Repent
2. Be Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ
3. Receive the Holy Spirit
These 3 things are scriptural as Acts 2:38 is scripture.
What would you like to know about each thing?

Re: Oneness and Acts 2:38
I have a very close friend who has been an apostolic preacher for a very L-O-N-G time ! He preached Boldly that EVERYONE who is not Baptized in Jesus name and has not spoken in tongues is going to hell without exception!!!!!! He even said that there was not one saved person in the 8 million member Church of God in Christ! Guess what!!!!! His mother passed last November and his daughter passed in February. Both of them belonged to trinitarian organizations .His mother spoke in tongues but his daughter had never spoken in tongues! He now says that both of them are in heaven. When countered by his oneness friends because neither his mother or daughter had been baptized in Jesus name, he said that is not the point they are in heaven! He says that he has the assurance in his heart that they are with the Lord! My question is How can it be that people change their doctrine when their relatives die who have not been baptized in Jesus name! If his mother and daughter can get into heaven without Baptism in Jesus name, how could a holy and just God not allow EVERYONE into heaven whether they are baptized in Jesus name or not?

A man's convictions are generally not proven by how loud he voices them, but by whether or not they can survive his family.

Hebrews 10:28-29 tell your friend I'm sorry for his loss. But everyone will make their choices. Prayer needs to be red hot while they are still alive.

It might be the only way to really know why is to go through the same thing, but then, would you want to, just to find out?
