That's why you as a consumer you need to know about the "farm" who produces your "food."

Animals which are sick and filled with antibiotics, are lower quality. They took care of their animals well in the OT, because it was part of the law Proverbs 12:10, Deuteronomy 25:4. So, logically they would of used the same care in slaughter for sacrifices. Pentecost isn't known for its health practices. They focus on taking care of spiritual while sadly allowing their bodies to fall apart.

Re: Smart Guy with a Beard
As far as bleeding out, the Romans believed it as the best way to die. It is termed "Roman Suicide" and left up to the magistrate or the emperor to allow you to go that route. Instead of beheading (Roman execution) the way for the elite who were sentenced to death were to open both wrists while in a warm bath. As they bleed out the peacefully slipped away. Hence the slit throat of an animal is quick when done properly. I do emphasize...properly.

Instead of a six pack you have a keg.
180 5’11” and a belly could just be your small intestine is folded over. With age it turns into what is termed an apron. Not saying that is what it is, you may just be pregnant.

The prices are higher because of the conditions they have to meet the compliance.

not sure whats inhumane about a slaughter house. You would have hated to see the sacrifices in the OT.

My family only eats free range eggs... of course they are from our chickens and ducks.
Believe me they do taste better.
I am not sure they are better for you, but at least I know what they have been eating.
Just started harvesting my "extra" male ducks and will start on my surplus roosters after that.
And again, they do taste much different than store bought.
We do contract with a local farmer and buy about 1/2 of a beeve twice a year.
They are raised without steriods and minimal antibiotics (he tries for zero, but sometimes has to use them).
And the taste is totally different than store bought.
I would not say that it is better, because these are free range and grass fed.
Grain fed cattle do taste better, but they are not raised as "nicely" as these.
