It will be different, one way or another.
Hardcore decisions will be made.
This is where the road forks.

I started to in 95. I read all the books, and talked to the Presbyter, but just didn't feel like it was what I was supposed to do.
I know that most would disagree with me, but I feel that the UPC as an org has run its course. Not that men will not continue to move forward, but there is too much politics within the system. It is much like the US political system. Corruption and pride. just MHO

I understand what you are saying and can't totally disagree.
The bolded is probably too close to the Truth to get many shouts of AMEN!

It most definitely will.
Somebody's gonna win.
Somebody's gonna lose.
Some will be happy.
Some will be mad.

PastorPoster,
It will be interesting to see if the resolution failing will have larger conseuences than the resolution itself.
This thread alludes to the fact that the issue of this resolution is more one of princicple than the actual resolution subject matter.
Will the failure of this resolution result in a significant number of established pastors / preachers breaking away from the UPC as the passage of the affirmation statement did years ago?
Or will we continue to see the steady trickle of libs and ultra cons leaving as they reach their limit of tolerance for what they see as the ills of their org.
