Wow can you imagine someone from the reunion finding this website and thread on the internet? I wonder what they would have to say....and I would feel shamefully bad that they would read some of the comments made about them without them even knowing it...

Amazing the things one finds out on internet, it seems people say things on forums that they would not say to someones face. Rather sad I think.

Wow! A beautiful thread and the posting of pictures about folks coming together and fellowshipping, after many years of coming to the place of their own relationships with God and they are condemned, (I guess to hell) for fellowshipping.

You know, I'd rather be around someone that was half "neckid," (go ahead and make something of that now) than to be around someone that has an ugly, judgmental spirit. I can see the nakedness but I can't see the judging, backstabbing and what's in a person's heart.

And if you can't sit and eat with sinful folks how can you post with them on a "sinful thread," where everything is okay, as someone said.

What is amazing is that some (with the attitude they have) would not even feel comfortable, fit in and be able to worship in some of the UPC churches. There are UPC churches in Texas who are as liberal as Renda. (Sorry Renda! I'm just as liberal as you are...maybe more so! ..... "I don't even think fat meat is greasy!" lol whatever that means!)

But let me be judgmental for a moment! (God forgive me) There are some who come on posts like this for all the wrong reasons. The post was started to share the "Reunion of Friends" in pictures. The counter attack was to tear down those who were in attendance, and judge their spirit and their standards and their sins and their compromise! Who knows who is doing what? I'm still looking for God's dual lists of "big sins" and "little sins." (yes, I know about abominations but God is the only one that can judge that).

And the sad part, the antagonists, (those judging something that they were not even a part of) in no way would ever consider they could have been wrong in doing so! We all see ourselves as being "the right one!" We're right in our own eyes.

Renda you probably should have titled this thread, "Come judge all the reprobates that graduated from JCM." "Nuff said!" Probably too much!

May God bless all of the JCM Alumni! and all of the JCM Alumni judges!

If you want to guage outward appearances, compare yourself to the apostles. Do you dress like them? Can you honestly say you look any different from a businessman of the world?

Where did this teaching we must not LOOK like the world originate? The Apostles looked like the world.

Too many have tried to make the outward look the issue instead of the inward.

Who said they were rejected???

If they choose to come back God is just and able to forgive them...

as we do also...

We love the backslider and do our best to help restore them...
