What is afraid? OK, let me ask you this? I'm serious, no offense, but have you been to a psychiatrist or currently going to one? You teach a Jesus who offers a wide gate and broadway. He really doesn't have any standard, but love? First off one would have to know what you mean by love, because it may not even be what they consider love, and certainly not what Jesus considered as love.

Actually you aren't explaining plainness of scripture. You are just telling us here is what you believe and we must except it because you say it's true.
The entrance to eternal life is tight, hard to navigate, but you claim it is loving your near brother? Jesus didn't mean a near brother was a Muslim, or even a Gentile. He used a Samaritan half breed, helping a Judean who was mugged. Jesus points out it was the one who was in need, who needed the attention. The two who passed up their "brother" did it because the law would of said they were ritually unclean if the assaulted Judean had died.
Jesus wasn't just speaking of loving your neighbor when He points out that the hard to navigate path leads to an almost closed door. Also another thing, Jesus tells the listener that their are few who find this way and entrance. That is what you are not wanting to deal with?

Re: Are all Catholics lost?
the door is wide open, EB, it's just no one wants to listen to the advice of little children, who have no guile. What is one's first love, if not the way you thought the world was going to be when you were 3, reiterated in the way you thought the first church you were joining was going to operate.
Your first love is defined by "treat them the way you want them to treat you" imo

ok and you don't have to accept a single thing i am saying, that is totally up to you. I'm just here to witness that when others start teaching how everyone else is lost they are talking out of their anus and beware. take it or leave it.

Re: Are all Catholics lost?
fine, i'm just saying better let God judge others, and run from people always quoting "Judge righteous judgement" like they know something and never quoting "You think you can judge, but you cannot."

So no removing beams to see clearly to be able to remove specks from a "brother's" eye?
You are a silly boy.

You make it up as you go along.
Christ is the door, God is love, therefore shazeep says everyone is saved and no one is lost, because God doesn't want anyone to know whose lost. Because it's all a surprise!
