In fact I think that the insinuation of "hateful" Pentecostals is coming mostly from the fertile imaginations of bitter, backslidden ex Apostolics who are constantly trying to find a way to justify their actions. ~ strait shooter

The point is that Jesus didn't die on the cross just to regulate our dress codes, but so many Apostolics seem to think that he did. We witness to people so that we can get them into the church, filled with the Holy Ghost and then get those sinful pants off the women, makeup off their faces, hair cut on men, etc. It's the primary FOCUS, way too often.

That bothers me. Too often, leading people to Jesus, drawing them into a close relationship with Him is NOT our focus. And it should be.

I respect standards when people genuinely believe them, and are doing them for the glory of God. I don't respect them when they ARE god.
I know, I understand and I feel the same way.

My comment was TIC because these post just get old sometimes so to spice them up you gotta TIC every now and again...

Is this the same Elder Moody from Cabot, AR? If so, I believe he also teaches that women are not only to have uncut hair but also that it must alwyas be worn up at all times.

Well, I'm fairly new around here, so the topics aren't old to me yet.

I was actually taking this post seriously... until I came to the part about the "electric charge conductivity of horsehair".

So... this is a joke, right?
Please tell me you were just kidding with that.

I'm curious as to what scripture he based his message on!

God gives us our hair, doesn't He?
We all, men and women, get our hair from God.
He gives us hair on our head, facial hair, and hair on other parts of our body.
If we alter the length of that hair in any area or don't allow it grow out unhindered to its full potential on its own, are we thwarting what God is giving us and interfering with the will of God?

Not at all.
Case in point....If you shave your underarm hair, you'll probably have less chance of having body odor issues. The Lord approves of that.

Shaving underarm hair is of the Lord!!!
