I'm glad she is standing up for what she believes, but some of her witness is not good for her coming out in public half dressed. IMO, it just is not a good example and confuses those that are lost and in sin.

She's prancing in front of a gay man and audience, quoting what she believes as a Christian. It's too sad to be funny.

Would she be following the scriptures that say, 1Ti 2:9 "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel."?

She can't skirt that scripture no matter what stand she takes on same-sex marriage. This, IMO, is what the world is finding confusion and hypocritical of the church.

On the same note, I heard even a Baptist preacher recently telling his congregation that the church is setting a bad example because our divorce rate matches that of secular society.

We need to do better than this.

I understand....but she is NOT a porn queen nor erotic. She is, in this instance, a beauty contestant and was following the rules(dress code choice) of this said contest. Could she have worn a 1 piece, sure. I've only seen 2 outfits that she was in, I didn't watch the pagent in it's entirity. She doesn't need negitive feedback from us. She needs our support regardless. Standing up for Christ and the Bible...TODAY, 2009 is a big deal. We are now in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. And it will get worse. Get ready.

I did see a clip of the bathing suit portion. They were erotically prancing around some musician. I don't know if he had a guitar or a Sax. I don't remember, but it was erotic for the audience.

She's not going to get a big thumbsup all they way around on this one.
