I voted yes, because I never liked the name. I grew up in the UPC, but never identified myself as Apostolic. I think some regions use the term more than others. Faithchild was a better name (although I realize it could not be used).

Outside of the UC's who despite anyone "sharing" the name "Apostolic," (boy do they have their hands full with the Catholics, who have used the name for a good 2,000 years longer) why the objection from others?

Interestingly, 14 voted "No" with a reason though. So maybe it's 14 to 4. The name-changers still are representing about 29% of the forum! Not bad!
