Thanks for making a statement which mirrors the video and confirms the very point I'm making...

Re: I/Me/My Syndrome
Great testimonial songs are often filled with I, me, my, and other personal references.
I love the old song:
Once a sinner far from Jesus I was perishing with cold
but the blessed saviour hear ME when I cried.
The he put his arms around ME and led ME to the fold
Now I'm living on the Halleaujah side.
In reality, I don't know how you could sing a testimonial song without a personal reference.

Re: I/Me/My Syndrome
Of course not! I'm not ashamed of my faith and belief system either since mine isn't full of pride, arrogance, and condemnation...perhaps the veil will be removed from your face, you know, that's something many Pentecostals preach about regarding others...again, another instance of the pot calling the kettle black...

I don't dispute that. As long as there's a balance in the songs that are sung, it won't convey the wrong message. So many people get so big-headed from singing those songs whether they realize it or not. Seriously, I don't dispute singing about what God has done for you, me, or anyone else. But when it gets down right ridiculous as this video I've posted, seriously...come on!

No, I'm trying to make you aware that you are not without sin that you can judge another's sins because of the content of your posts when you were sticking up for Dagwood. The real issue is this. That song was picked out to prove a secular point against someone. If it were not then the song before and the one after should have been played also to give the defendant a fair trial.

Re: I/Me/My Syndrome
What scares me is that bass player at about 23 or 24 seconds into it.
