Great testimonial songs are often filled with I, me, my, and other personal references.
I love the old song:
Once a sinner far from Jesus I was perishing with cold
but the blessed saviour hear ME when I cried.
The he put his arms around ME and led ME to the fold
Now I'm living on the Halleaujah side.
In reality, I don't know how you could sing a testimonial song without a personal reference.
