Re: Friend is Unitarian Universalist:
Please. As soon as your beliefs become codified into a religion,
satan owns you, and any brush that would condemn any religion,
inferring that those involved in it are lost, is as false as it is true.
Now, this surely will not be popular to anyone,
but the above means that you might call yourself
Apostolic, Universalist, or Wiccan.
It does not matter to God, Who will judge your heart.

That's exactly how it works. Bbyrd interrogated the devil. I'm pretty sure water boarding was involved.

That's like asking if anyone can prove there aren't a group of bigfoots (bigfeet?) meeting somewhere in the world and worshiping trees. If one cannot prove there isn't such a group, that must prove there is such a group.
Thing is, Unitarians preceded oneness Pentecostals by a few hundred years. That can be proven.

The truth was given in the first century. I believe we have the collection of writings from the Apostles we need. I am content with that.

But....no oneness Pentecostals until 1913? No record of any growth, power or dominion at all in the church of the Living God can be found in the several hundred years prior to 1913?

I'm putting out the fact that the Unitarians preceded the oneness Pentecostals by a few hundred years.

Please see that is equally as freeing as it is...condemning?
You are well aware that "God judges the heart,"
so what have I really said that is new?
Your religion is in satan's hands? This
can't be new to you, either; I suggest that
it is the way one hears these, as much as
what they are saying, that might be telling-
-in the first, we always (well, I always)
assume that the verse is speaking about
"saved people," when no such qualifier is mentioned,
and in the second, we always (") assume that this
means that everyone involved in this religion is
satanic or whatever, when this (I don't think)
is what is meant at all.
My personal example, very hard-won,
is Catholics. I was raised prolly like
most of you, convinced that the Pope
was satan incarnate, 666 in his hat, etc.,
Mary worship, you name it. Now, while my
view of the religion has only become more,
hostile, we'll say, with age, I have meanwhile
met some Catholics, and they are, in my
experience anyway, universally wonderful.
Now, let's be fair, and postulate that many,
if not most, of the preachers who post here
surely believe that these wonderful people,
who just happen to have RCC as a form, are
going to hell, when Scripture will tell one
quite plainly that God judges the heart,
and not the religion.
I'll go even further and say that
this has become a sign for me-
-a blanket condemnation of another
sect by a pastor, unfortunately quite common-
-and I run from this now.

Your understanding of Luke 13:23 and John's Revelation of Jesus Christ, seems to be in serious conflict at chapter 5:11-14:
11 Again I looked, and I heard angels, thousands and millions of them! They stood around the throne, the four living creatures, and the elders, 12 and sang in a loud voice:
“The Lamb who was killed is worthy
to receive power, wealth, wisdom, and strength,
honor, glory, and praise!”
13 And I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, in the world below, and in the sea—all living beings in the universe—and they were singing:
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb,
be praise and honor, glory and might,
forever and ever!”
14 The four living creatures answered, “Amen!” And the elders fell down and worshiped

The time is coming when they will. Every living creature will be worshipping Yeshua. However most that ever lived will not be living then. They will have died the 2nd death.
